In collaboration with the Royal Society of Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians, Professor Axford has set up a global education initiative. This aims to provide medical education to those working in countries where this is not readily and regularly available.
An education programme has now been commenced whereby students and doctors receive:
• regular broadcasts of Royal Society of Medicine lectures
• access to all online Royal Society of Medicine services
• face-to-face teaching by three rheumatologists in the recipient’s hospital
